Description: My birthday is Saturday, November 6, 2010. I do know my name and come when called. I’m smartJ.
I love to play with plush and furry toys with squeakies. Anything that squeaks will be my favorite toy. I also need hard chewies because I am teething. If you’re not careful, I’ll trip you when I try to chew on your pants or toes. I also like small tennis balls and if you hang a rope to a doorknob I will be your best friend:))
When I get tired you can cuddle me like a baby, place me on my back, and give me a gentle belly rub. I will fall asleep in your arms:)
I know how to use the doggy door – but I don’t always remember what its real purpose is and I have occasional accidents. Just don't leave anything on the floor - like a towel – it makes a great target. I would prefer going out with you. I like going “hurry–up” (we don’t use the word “make”) on grass and like to pee on the patio or my foster’s hard wood floor (oops). You have to understand that I am growing and eat and drink a lot. I sometimes dig holes so please make sure your fence is secure – and deep. Also, please hide all your patio plants from me – I will eat them if I can reach them, and many are toxic.
I awake at 6:30am very thirsty and hungry. If you wake me and walk me at 10pm, we should be fine through the night. I cry when I am tired – It’s ok to pick me up and put me in my crate.
If you want to take a nap, that’s fine with me. I love cuddling up and napping with you. I also like watching tv with you at night – you watch, I sleep.
I am really excited about going home with you. I hope you have kids and/or another doggy for me to play with – I do well with both. Not sure how I'll do with cats because I've never seen one.
