This is my Story............My Mom Blueberry, was dumped at a gassing facility in Louisiana while she was in labor.  The shelter workers were trying to get her into the gas chamber before she could have her first puppy.  They had already started getting it ready when the first baby was born.  That bought us some time.  My mom went on to have 9 puppies.  A rescue in LA said they would take us.  After 4 days, they never showed up to get us.  Another rescue inquired about us and came to get us.  When they got there, they found my Mom with a dead mouse in her mouth.  They saw that the mice in the shelter had been biting me and my siblings.  Mom was killing them as best as she could to protect us.   The Rescue in LA arranged for us to fly to West Palm Beach to A Second Chance Rescue with Art Dryer of Pilots and Paws.
