Hi!  My name is Lady.  I came to A Second Chance from Broward County Animal Care and Control after I was found as stray with my seven babies.  because of my circumstances, I was very untrusting of everyone I came into contact with and reacted negatively out of fear.  My babies were all adopted and now I am trying to find my forever home.  But that is not so easy, you see.  I am fearful of new people that I meet and I don't behave so nicely at first.  However, if you are patient with me I will come around and be your best friend.  I will follow you wherever you go and I love to sit on your lap...or your foot...or your head.  I just want to be close to my person.  I am learning to trust more people every day.  My foster mom likes to say "Once you've made it on Lady's list, you're golden!"  If you give me a chance to learn to trust and to love, I promise I will be your best friend forever.
