Success Stories

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Chelsea

Chelsea is fabulous! We love her and enjoy her so much. She is very healthy, happy, and gives us kisses always and runs and swims all if the time

Chip

Hi Kathy Chip (now Harley) is doing Great! We took him to the vet yesterday for his second round of shots and now weighs 27lbs! He is house broken (took about two weeks) and now just goes to the front door and let's us know he has to go out. He is so energetic, playful and very smart! Loves to go for long walks, play with other dogs, play fetch and loves squeaky toys. We just love him so much! Thank you Brandon & Debbie

Chiquita

Chiquita is doing great. She is one happy dog! I take her to the dog park every afternoon where she runs and plays with other dogs. Here is a picture that I took of her a few days ago. The girls as the dog park love holding her and she loves the attention as you can tell from the picture. I replaced the collar with the harness because the collar would choke her when she pulls against it. She sleeps resting against me under the covers just like Daisy did and she has bonded to my mother so we are a very happy family. I did let Deven know last week how well we are doing and am happy to let you know too. Thanks for making it happen, David

Cindy Lu

Cindy Lu is doing great. She has been back to the Drs as we were asked to do and did find she had ear mits. They are being treated and besides that she is well. In great health per the Vet. She is so loveable and gettting along well with her new brothers. She makes us laugh and she is my husbands best friend. She loves him so much and is by his side all the time. Conch

Hi Kathy, I really love Lacy (aka Conch). She is so loyal and loving. Potcakes have always been my favorite dog. This week she will be going to Eleuthra for Vacation. This potcake has never had it so good. They are a very special breed and I can really relate to them. It has been hard with the potty training, I think because she was in a pen for so long. I will take her for a walk and then she will come back and go to the toilet in the house. I am working on that. At least its easier than raising a teenager! You are doing such great work. Thank you.
