Success Stories

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Peppy

She is doing very very well! Her new name is Maya! She has loads of energy but she is at the barn with me all day long and loving it! She loves all of her doggy friends! And is incredibly smart! It took me no time to house break her and teach her all of her tricks! I'm very happy with her and she seems to be happy as well ~ Jackie <3

Puddles

Kathy, Thank you for all that you do for so many! Puddles has been a beautiful addition to our family. We couldn't be happier. Down the road we are looking to adopt a male for Puddles to share her with life with a brother someday. Puddles has a new name...Hadley Puddles Rayne. Thank you again! Manfred Rayne

Paris

Hi everyone! The black puppy was Paris from the October "P" litter. We renamed her "Pink" and she is now 5 months old and 31 lbs! She loves her new yard and family. She loves to go on her daily walks with Lucky and play fetch. We are so happy to have her. She's very smart and we couldn't ask for a happier pup. Thank you again for all you do! Princess

Formerly known as Princess, her name now is Kaia. She is doing great and getting tons of love from everyone who meets her! She's such a happy, playful puppy and getting big quick - at only 4 months old she is already 26 pounds! She loves the beach, running in the yard, and she picked up on how to play fetch pretty easily. Kaia is amazing with my 3 year old brother and the other the dogs around the house. She has a big personality and is ready to share it with everyone around. We love her so much! Thank you so much for all of your help. A Second Chance Rescue is the best! Peaches

Hi Kathy - Peaches, today her name is Zoom, is doing very good and adjusting wonderfully with Bella, my five year old dog. She's double the size and she is eighteen pounds. Well she is still in training, and made some mistakes inside the house, but it is the process of she needs to go. She is very sweet and hyper but she is only 3 months old.
