Animal Success Stories

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek!  Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes.  We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families.  If you’ve adopted a dog or cat from us, please share your story!  Success Stories and pictures can be sent to adoptions@asecondchancerescue.org.

Tuesday
Tuesday

Tuesday who's new name is marbles is doing wonderful. The kids love her. We Are taking her to training at pet smart. She is terrific.

Tucker

Trish and Tucker are the sweetest, cutest little brats. They are so funny they chase each other all over the house. They like to sleep in my bed. They are funny because they want all the attention for themselves. If I’m petting Trish, Tucker will try to get in front of her so I’ll pet him and vice versa.

Tyson
Tyson

Sawyer (aka Tyson) is doing quite well ;-) He's a very well-behaved puppy. Learning his Do's and Don't's pretty quick. He's been having a blast with my boys and is sad when they are at school. Has been on our boat, at the beach and even swam in the ocean (was trying to get to me on my raft - which he did.) All supervised of course ;-)

Ty
Ty

Ty (renamed Cooper) is doing great. He was a bit timid when he got here, but is growing more confident every day. There are a lot of dogs in the neighborhood and he is becoming friends with a lot of them. He is a sweet dog and I am very happy I adopted him. I have an older female dog (10) who has welcomed him and two cats, who are afraid of him but are warming up. I am attaching two pictures, one of Cooper and one of him with his new sister. I have been telling everyone about your great organization and hope to send some adopters your way. Thank you, Mike Breitenbeck
