Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Harley

Dear Kathy, Thank you so much for touching base with us in regard to our recent adoption of Harley. The CONGRATULATIONS should go to you folks at A Second Chance Rescue.........we are just the recipients of a wonderful, loving and adorable little Shih Tzu puppy, who has fit into our family like a glove on a hand. We have a five year old female and the two of these darling companions are jumping, running, playing sharing toys and loving us to pieces. They sleep in our bed with us, walk and play together and charm everyone they meet. Harley has also made good friends with his cousins, a German Shepherd mix, a Border Collie mix, and a Sharpe mix..............who come buy to visit him and play in our fenced garden. The giving and caring people at A Second Chance Rescue do a fabulous job of matching up families with homeless pets and I look forward to doing some volunteer work with you beginning in November.
