Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Chiquita

Chiquita is doing great. She is one happy dog! I take her to the dog park every afternoon where she runs and plays with other dogs. Here is a picture that I took of her a few days ago. The girls as the dog park love holding her and she loves the attention as you can tell from the picture. I replaced the collar with the harness because the collar would choke her when she pulls against it. She sleeps resting against me under the covers just like Daisy did and she has bonded to my mother so we are a very happy family. I did let Deven know last week how well we are doing and am happy to let you know too. Thanks for making it happen, David
