Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Ebony

Diane, We are so happy to have Ebony in our lives. She now goes by the name Ginger and is a lively, healthy pup! And how she has grown in just one month! Our two children, Sarah (10) and Oscar (7), have been involved in Ginger’s caretaking and training. We think Ginger is smart! She has caught on to what is expected of her in the house. She only chews on her toys (what a relief) and is house trained! She is also learning some tricks and loves to play in the backyard with us. We have a great vet down here in Broward County that will care for Ginger. Ginger has also made many dog and human friends in our neighborhood.
