Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Lover

Hi Kathy...Lover is doing great! We have named him Drake. My 20 year old son is home for the week with his dog (adopted last year from second chance -Solstice..renamed Captain). The two dogs are having a great time together and we feel very blessed to have them. I tried to attach a pic from earlier this week. My younger son will be taking Drake to dog training next month (through the community center here in Boca). I may look into adopting again later in the summer- not a pup...so Drake has a companion.
