Ava

It's been a few days and we wanted to give you an update on Ava (Sarah is keeping her name). She's doing great and has fit right into the craziness of our family! We introduced her to Daisy our alpha dog first, then Bailey separately so each could get to know her…it couldn't have gone better. Now she plays tug-of-war with Bailey, the Puggle, and Daisy is teaching her how to hunt lizards in the back yard. After she does her 'business,' she's allowed off the leash to run around the back yard with the big dogs and is fitting right in!

For right now Sarah is sleeping on the floor with Ava. She has a loft bed so we didn't want Ava to be all alone. Ava has adjusted well and sleeps in the bed we bought her right next to her new mommy. Ava is especially fond of Sarah and follows her all over the house. She's potty training well, uses the pads, misses a few times but will get the hang of it I'm sure! She's eating well and is quite the little piggy! She is very well mannered, so gentle and even knows sit and stay. :)

Thank you all so much for all your help with our adoption. Especially thank Erica too for all the hours of love she gave Ava, it certainly shows! We are so delighted with our new addition to our family. We all love her so much!!
