Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Delilah

Hello Second Chance family, We are writing to inform you that Delilah has successfully acclimated to her new home and family. She and our other dog Portia (adopted from A Second Chance in 2009) have become best buds. Portia still likes to have her space now and then as she is older and was use to being an "only child" but Delilah adores her, follows her everywhere and does as Portia does. When Portia is more in the mood to play, they go for hours running, chasing, wrestling and pouncing on each other. Once they tire out you never have to look far for either of them as they are always curled up together on the nearest bed, snuggling. Thank you for helping us make our family complete!
