Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Ace

Kathy, Dunkin (Ace) is doing beautifully. We are so enamored with him -- it's wonderful. He is already at 21 pounds and thriving. We began dog training lessons with a great instructor who we heard about from Dr. Fox's office and Dunkin is responding well. He sits, stays and comes (for the most part) on command. The whole family is having fun working with him. He loves his crate and sleeps through the night from about 11-6:30 am without ever having and accident. He continues to pee occassionally during the daytime in the house (but I think this issue will resolve itself as we get more and more used to his schedule and he gets used to ours.) We believe he has begun trying to let us know when he needs to go out. He is just adorable, the sweetest dog and we couldn't be happier! Hope all is well. Thank you for the follow-up. Robin
