Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Cashmere

Cashmere.... How lucky we feel to have her in our family.

From the day we brought her into our family we just knew she was special. She is fully potty trained... she will sit at your feet and stare quietly at you until you open the back door....so smart! She is now sleeping all night (yeah).

We are sure the foster approach is by far the best way for an abandoned puppy to begin their life, it just shows in the demeanor of the pups.

Thank you to all the volunteers who give so much so families like ours can be blessed with a little girl like Cashmere.
